I hope this message finds you and your families well in these unprecedented times.

I am pleased to announce that we will be re-opening our doors and restoring services across our various facilities from Monday 1st June, 2020

We appreciate the last couple of months has been a very difficult period to access any type of healthcare across our country. Like yourselves, we know the virus is having a major and as yet unquantifiable indirect impact to people in our communities with coronary heart disease. We are therefore keen to gradually restore services at the same time as recognising the risks of being an early mover and undoing all the hard-earned gains of lockdowns and social distancing measures. I also believe there is an inherent logic to recommence private cardiology services alongside the restoration of NHS services for private patients that have similar levels of risk and urgency.

Our primary concern continues to be the health and safety of our staff and their families, patients and the local communities in which we work. All public health measures advised by Government are being followed in support of efforts to contain the spread of the virus, our UK head office, regional offices and network of facilities are complying with local advice in order to safeguard the health of staff, patients and the wider community.

At a more local level, our decision and planning processes have been coordinated with your partner NHS Trust managers to ensure that we are in strategic alignment with local infection control and risk strategies.

In terms of a brief Regent’s Park coronavirus impact summary: We closed our Cambridge, Peninsula and Dorset heart clinics and furloughed many of our clinical staff at the end of March 2020, retaining admin and finance staff to continue with essential business support functions. We have continued managing our NHS cath lab services in the North of England and Midlands remotely and seamlessly. Our senior managers have also made themselves available to answer enquiries from our staff, patients and NHS partners on the numerous operational issues that have arisen. Since the outbreak, all spare capacity in our facilities has been made available to the NHS to help with their resilience planning. In the majority of our facilities this has been fully utilised. All staff were positively encouraged to volunteer their services back to support the coronavirus response and I am proud to say that many did so in various capacities in their local communities, the NHS or as armed forces reservists. I am also relieved to inform you that across our organisation, whilst we have had many symptomatic staff needing to self-isolate or shield, we have not had any staff admitted to hospital nor lost any staff to the virus. The majority of our workforce will therefore be returning to their normal workplaces from 1st June 2020.

As we return to operations, I am sure you will agree that we will need to re-evaluate how we do things moving forward and find our “new normal”. I ask that you bear with us as we go through the planning cycle of test, critique, adapt and re-testing our pathways and processes. This is not the time for clichés but I am optimistic about the future of our services and believe crisis is the driving force of innovation – I believe there will plenty of opportunities to learn, adapt and pivot in our sector.

May I take this opportunity to say to our patients that my management teams and clinical staff look forward to welcoming you and continuing to deliver an outstanding level of service.

Lastly, for all our doctors and staff who have been working and who continue to work in frontline clinical roles at this testing time, I want to say that mere words can never convey the deep gratitude and respect we have for you all.

Regent’s Park Healthcare becomes the first healthcare company in the UK to be accredited by the Good Business Charter

WILTSHIRE, United Kingdom, 8 June 2020: Regent’s Park Healthcare has become the first healthcare company to be accredited by the Good Business Charter.

Regent’s Park joins major corporates including Richer Sounds, Deloitte, London City Airport, Capita and Brompton Bicycles on the list of companies that have joined the Good Business Charter since its launch in early 2020.

Dr Anil Ohri, Founder and CEO, Regent’s Park Healthcare said:

Regent’s Park announces a ground-breaking partnership with University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust

WILTSHIRE, United Kingdom, 17 February, 2019: Regent’s Park Healthcare Ltd. (RPH), an independent healthcare company specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, today announced it has entered into a ground-breaking partnership with University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHP).

The RPH & UHP partnership will lead to the development of a state-of-the-art cardiology centre, to be called the ‘Peninsula Heart Clinic’, based within Derriford hospital and situated on land opposite the South West Cardiothoracic Centre. The new heart clinic will expand cardiology capacity, reducing NHS waiting times and build on UHP’s reputation for being a centre of excellence for cardiothoracic services across the South West of England.

Regent’s Park receives prestigious ISO 9001 Award

WILTSHIRE, United Kingdom, 14 January, 2019: Regent’s Park Healthcare Ltd. (RPH) – the UK’s leading cardiology services provider – has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 standard for the planning, delivery, continual monitoring and improvement of managed healthcare services.

ISO 9001 is the world’s most widely recognised Quality Management System, helping businesses to continually monitor and manage quality across all its operations as well as achieve and benchmark consistent performance and service.

RPH has now joined an illustrious list of other top businesses to receive this certification and the assessors were impressed at the high level of quality provided by RPH services in its various service operations across the UK.

RPH was audited against its senior management’s commitment to quality, its customer focus, adequacy of its resources, employee competence, process management, quality planning, monitoring and measurement of its processes and products and processes to resolve customer complaints.

Matthew Stacey, Managing Director at QMS International (QMS), an independent audit company that inspected RPH said: “RPH showed a highly commendable level of consistency across its specialist facilities ranging from mobile catheter labs, fixed site heart clinics and its industry partnership (innovations) division, considering the number of sites, people, resources required and processes involved.
