The Institute of Directors Shortlists our Chief Executive for Company Director of The Year Award

LONDON, United Kingdom, 1 May, 2018: Regent’s Park Healthcare Ltd., an independent healthcare company specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, today announced its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Anil Ohri, has been shortlisted as a Finalist for Director of the Year Award by the Institute of Directors (London & South) in its Innovation Category.

The finalists were chosen from the hundreds of directors that entered or were nominated across nine different categories.

The expert judging panel will now convene to decide the overall winners to be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 14 June 2018 at the iconic 116 Pall Mall, the home of the Institute of Directors (IoD).

Naga Munchetty, journalist and BBC broadcaster will host the ceremony alongside the wonderful Roger Tilling, best known as The Voice of University Challenge.

The Institute of Directors is a non-party political organisation, founded in 1903, with approximately 30,000 members. Membership includes directors from right across the business spectrum – from media to manufacturing, professional services to the public and voluntary sectors. Members include CEOs of large corporations as well as entrepreneurial directors of start-up companies.

The IoD was granted a Royal Charter in 1906, instructing it to “represent the interests of members and of the business community to government and in the public arena, and to encourage and foster a climate favourable to entrepreneurial activity and wealth creation.” The Charter also tasks the Institute with promoting “for the public benefit high levels of skill, knowledge, professional competence and integrity on the part of directors”, which the IoD seeks to achieve through its training courses and publications on corporate governance.

Regent’s Park opens the Dorset Heart Clinic

LONDON, United Kingdom, 3 April, 2017: Regent’s Park Healthcare Ltd. (RPH), an independent healthcare company specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, today announced the opening of “The Dorset Heart Clinic”.

The Dorset Heart Clinic is a world-class, state-of-the-art, private patient cardiology centre located within the Royal Bournemouth Hospital – it is the largest dedicated private cardiology facility on the south coast of England.

The Dorset Heart Clinic is led by a team of consultant cardiologists from the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. They are at the forefront of their respective areas of clinical practice with reputations synonymous with excellence both nationally and internationally. They are supported by a comprehensive team of cardiac professionals that include specialist nurses, physiologists, radiographers and dietitians. The Royal Bournemouth Hospital has one of the largest and best equipped cardiac departments in the NHS with over 300 cardiac staff, 4 cath labs and 16 critical care beds. New partnership formed to develop the Dorset Heart Clinic

(RPH), an independent healthcare company specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, today announced it has entered into a formal partnership with The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The partnership will lead to the development of a world-class, state-of-the-art, private patient cardiology centre, to be called “The Dorset Heart Clinic” – it will be the largest dedicated private cardiology facility on the south coast of England.

The partnership will leverage the considerable experience and resources of both organisations’ in the delivery of cardiology services across the private and public sectors to better serve the needs of patients across Dorset and its neighbouring areas. The heart clinic will also allow the Trust to repatriate income from private hospitals and to re-invest these monies back into frontline NHS care.

Dorset Heart Clinic is the trading name for a limited liability partnership company between The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Regent’s Park Healthcare. The partnership is registered as Dorset Heart Clinic LLP, company number OC 414702.

Dorset Heart Clinic is scheduled to open in April 2017.

Regent’s Park CEO invited to speak at the British Museum
