Darren Waugh

Darren is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in Cardiology, Interventional Radiology and Clinical Research.

He has been working at Peninsula Heart Clinic as the Lead Cardiac & Research Nurse since the opening of the heart clinic in 2019.

Darren has actively co-ordinated two large cardiology commercial trials that have now affected and changed clinical practice. He has extensive experience in the cardiac catheter Laboratory and provides leadership for PHC clinical staff both in the daycase unit and catheter lab.

Darren holds a foundation degree in Business Management.
