Dr Girish Babu is a Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals. His sub-speciality interest is cardiac arrhythmia management and device implantation. He trained at London’s prestigious cardiac centres (London Heart Hospital and St. Bartholomew’s hospital). Dr Babu maintains high levels of expertise and treats all aspects of cardiac arrhythmia. Dr Babu’s specific specialist procedural skills for cardiac patient care include, Atrial Fibrillation ablation (Radiofrequency and Cryoablation), EP study and ablation of Supraventricular Tachycardias, Atrial Flutter ablation, ablation of Ventricular tachycardias, implantation of Pacemakers, Intracardiac Defibrillators  (ICD), Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT) pacemakers, Subcutaneous ICDs and Lead extractions.
