LONDON, United Kingdom, 26 November, 2016: Regent’s Park Healthcare Ltd. (RPH), an independent healthcare company specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, today announced it has entered into a formal partnership with The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The partnership will lead to the development of a world-class, state-of-the-art, private patient cardiology centre, to be called “The Dorset Heart Clinic” – it will be the largest dedicated private cardiology facility on the south coast of England.
The partnership will leverage the considerable experience and resources of both organisations’ in the delivery of cardiology services across the private and public sectors to better serve the needs of patients across Dorset and its neighbouring areas. The heart clinic will also allow the Trust to repatriate income from private hospitals and to re-invest these monies back into frontline NHS care.
Dorset Heart Clinic is the trading name for a limited liability partnership company between The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Regent’s Park Healthcare. The partnership is registered as Dorset Heart Clinic LLP, company number OC 414702.
Dorset Heart Clinic is scheduled to open in April 2017.
