Regent’s Park awarded long-term contract at Epsom Hospital to provide managed cardiology services

WILTSHIRE, United Kingdom, 12 November, 2021: Regent’s Park today announced it has won a contract to provide managed cardiology services at Epsom Hospital, part of the Epsom, St Helier and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Hospital Group.


After a long and competitive process, Regent’s Park Healthcare (RPH) are delighted to have been awarded a long-term contract to provide managed cardiac catheterisation services at Epsom Hospital, part of the Epsom, St Helier and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Hospital Group. The contract is expected to commence in Q1, 2022 and will task Regent’s Park with providing a staffed, brand new million-pound modular cardiac catheter lab equipped to provide a range of interventional cardiology procedures including PCI, Pacemakers & Devices and Cardiac Electrophysiology & Ablations.

The majority business of the  company involves the design, build, financing and operation of cardiology centres to provide additional system capacity to address long NHS waiting lists. Its most recent centre, called Peninsula Heart Clinic, opened in 2019 alongside the Southwest cardiothoracic centre in Derriford hospital, part of the University of Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.


Two decades since it was founded, RPH now has an integrated national platform operating interventional and outpatient cardiology services across a large number of NHS hospitals.
