Regent’s Park raises £5,620 for The Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer Charity

LONDON, United Kingdom, 7 June, 2011: Regent’s Park Heart Clinics Ltd. (Regent’s Park), an independent healthcare company specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, today announced that its senior management team raised a total of £5,620 for The Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer Charity at the 2011 HealthInvestor Awards night at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.

Daniel Oberholzer, Corporate Development Director commented: “Regent’s Park had been selected as a finalist to win two award categories: ‘Diagnostic provider of the year’ and ‘Private hospital group of the year’, and whilst these awards were won by worthy competitors, our company rose to the challenge set at the charity casino to win the largest amount of money for a nominated charity. Our team beat off competition from over 1100 dinner guests to win first prize!” He added: “It was a huge pleasure for our team to be able to make this donation to such a richly deserving charity in an allied field of medicine.”

The HealthInvestor Awards promote excellence and recognise innovation in the healthcare sector. The judges shortlist organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the industry in 2010.
